our company

Connect Hospitality Consultancy was founded by Gerard Butterly, a hospitality professional with over 30 years of experience in hotel and restaurant development, management, and consultancy.

Gerard began his career in the hospitality industry running a successful nightclub in Skerries, where he gained first-hand experience in operations, customer service, and business management. Building on that success, he and his wife Anne Marie went on to develop the Airport View Hotel, along with Secret Spa and Winters Restaurant, in 2000.

Together, they built a reputation for excellence through a simple philosophy, buy the best, so you can give the best. From award-winning food to luxurious spa treatments and a top-tier guest experience, the hotel became known for quality that could only be appreciated in person.

After successfully building, growing, and later selling the hotel, Gerard shifted his focus to helping others in the industry achieve the same success. As a hotel and restaurant consultant, he now works with business owners to develop standout concepts, refine operations, and elevate standards across the board.

He’s been there , built it, run it, and sold it. Now, through Connect Hospitality Consultancy, he’s focused on sharing that expertise and experience to help others grow and thrive in an ever-evolving hospitality landscape.
